Measuring Thiele-Small Parameters

1.0 Introduction

1.1 About This Guide
I will make the assumption that you have at least a small appreciation of what Thiele-Small parameters are and why they are so important. Therefore I will concentrate on explaining how you can measure them, even if you are a beginner. I won't cover every single parameter possible, just the most commonly used ones - basically all those necessary for useful modelling.

This guide is split into sections to make it easier to navigate (and print out) the relevant parts you need.
